Catalysis Chemical Engineering Kinetics Mass Spectrometry Spectroscopy Transient Characterisation
Biography
Post-doctoral research fellow working in field of dual fuel vehicle modelling. Extensive background in catalysis, at the interface of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Research interests include valorisation of organic (lignocellulosic) waste products, catalyst recovery, transient kinetics, aspects of mass transfer and reaction engineering. Experienced in catalyst preparation and characterization techniques. The major focus of research to date is transient kinetic and diffusion studies for numerous processes and catalysts, including for energy related studies. Have a number of publications on the development of kinetic and mass transfer model functions to assist in data analysis of a fast transient technique. Other areas of current research includes reactivation of Au catalysts as well as the development of spatial resolution techniques.
